Qantas International First Class Lounge, Melbourne Airport

One of the upsides of a job that has a lot of travel is the frequent flyer status, which gets me in to the international first class lounge. Given the timing of my two most common international destinations (North America and New Zealand) Im usually in the lounge for breakfast, and they do a great eggs Benedict.

This time, however, I was on an evening flight and got to be in the lounge for dinner - and that means I got to try the cheeseburger!

Size-wise, this is actually pretty good. Its big enough to fill a hole, but not so huge you cant pick it up (or be able to walk to the gate for your flight). Came with a little jar of fancy tomato sauce on the side, and some really well cooked and crunchy chips.

Only thing I can fault is that the patty itself was a bit on the bland side and could have done with a little more seasoning. However, the sauces, cheese and salad more than compensated.

8/10: Would eat again.
