Camden Market (again!)

Back at Camden Market, so back to Honest Burgers! Given its now December they have their Christmas special, which sounded tasty:

Beef patty
Smoked bacon
Deep fried Camembert
Cranberry sauce
Rocket

Christmas Special burger

The fried Camembert was pretty special: as you bite into the burger, the gooey melted cheese oozes out and through the other ingredients.

The mistake I made here was not immediately dipping my chips into the melted cheese, as it cooled and set pretty quickly. No big deal, ‘cause I just used chips to scrape it up anyway!

Verdict: Yummo! This thing was delicious!

This time I’m out with Campbell, not Bren. Cam hasn’t been here before, so went with the local special, the Cheese Truck. Just as Bren and I decided, Cam thought it was pretty tasty as well.

Skipped the cocktails today and washed lunch down with a homemade lemonade (Cam) and a minted lemonade (me), both tasty and refreshing.

The sad part is were heading home from the UK in a couple of days, and so won’t get a chance to try more of the Honest Burgers menu. I would if I could!
